Roger Pressman is a Senior
Consultant with Cutter Consortium's Agile
Project Management Practice and a contributor
to the Agile Project Management Advisory Service.
He is on the editorial board of the Cutter
IT Journal and a regular speaker and keynoter
at Cutter Summits. Mr. Pressman is an internationally
recognized consultant and author in software
engineering. For more than three decades,
he has worked as a software engineer, manager,
professor, author, and consultant, focusing
on software engineering issues. Mr. Pressman
specializes in helping companies establish
effective software engineering practices.
He is the developer of Process Advisor, a
self-directed software process improvement
product; Essential Software Engineering, a
comprehensive video curriculum; and the Adaptable
Process Model, an adaptable, hypertext software
process template. Mr. Pressman is the president
of R.S. Pressman & Associates, Inc., which
has developed a reputation for its pragmatic
approach to software process improvement.
He is the author of six books, including the
best-selling Software Engineering: A Practitioner's
Approach, now in its 20th anniversary edition.
